    The ultimate solution to filling joints between paving slabs and setts, suitable for standard natural stone and concrete paving on pedestrian and vehicular areas with heavy vehicle loads up to 40 tonnes. 

    The two-part epoxy resin system is easily mixed and quickly applied as a slurry to dampened paving.  The ultra high strength of ProJoint™ V400-WT™ means that it can be used in the most demanding of environments where heavy traffic loading is required.

FAQ's

  1. What is the difference between V400 and TITAN?
    Both are chemically cured, but V400 is designed for heavy-duty use (up to 40 ton), while Titan is better for lighter traffic areas (Up to 10 ton). TITAN is a great all-rounder for driveways, patios and paths, whereas V400 is ideal for driveways with heavy use and commercial spaces.
  2. Where can I buy V400?
    V400 is available from Nexus-approved stockists. Check with your local supplier or visit the Nexus website to find your nearest retailer.
  3. Why can’t you use V400 on porcelain?
    Porcelain paving requires a specially formulated product like ProJoint™ RapidFlow, which is designed to bond with porcelain’s low-porosity surface.
  4. What is the resin layer after applying V400?
    After applying V400, a resin layer might remain on the surface. Be sure to clean any excess with a damp sponge during application to avoid a sticky residue.
  5. How long does V400 take to cure?
    V400 cures for foot traffic in 12 hours, light vehicular traffic in 24 hours and achieves full strength in 28 days. (In ideal dry ambient conditions)
  6. Is V400 permeable?
    Yes, it allows water to drain through the joints, reducing surface water and preventing puddles.
  7. Can you pressure wash V400?
    Yes, but wait until it’s fully cured.
  8. Why should I use V400 over air-cure jointing compounds?
    V400’s chemical curing process gives it greater strength and durability compared to air-cured products, making it better for areas with regular foot traffic and heavy vehicles.
  9. Once mixed, can I store it for future use?
    No, once mixed, V400 must be used immediately.
  10. The surface of my paving is tacky after application, why is this?
    This happens when excess resin isn’t cleaned away during application. Use a damp sponge or cloth to remove it as you work.
  11. What temperature should I apply V400?
    Apply V400 when the surface temperature is between 3°C & 25°C.
  12. When is V400 normally used?
    V400 is ideal for patios, garden paths, and heavy-duty use areas where a durable, professional finish is needed.
